Kicking Goals On and Off the Field
As April approaches, excitement is brewing here at NT Voice & Data as we gear up for an exhilarating 5-a-side football match for a special cause. On April 26th, we’ll be lacing up our boots and stepping onto the pitch not just to compete but to make a difference. By taking part in ‘The Big Goal’ to support The Street Soccer Foundation and their sport-for-change charity we’re ready to show our support to end youth homelessness in the most spirited way possible.
For us, this isn’t just another match—it’s a chance to embody our commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. As a company invested in fostering positive change, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join forces with such an impactful organisation. The Street Soccer Foundation’s dedication to using football as a vehicle for empowerment resonates deeply with our values, making this collaboration a natural fit.

What is The Big Goal?
The aim of The Big Goal competition is to use the global #1 sport and fuse it with the largest industry sector in the UK to tackle one of the largest social issues in the country – youth homelessness. With participation in this tournament, we will be able to sponsor 10 young people from our local area through The Street Soccer Foundation’s National Academy Programme by giving them the opportunity to take part in a 10 week personal development training program. We look forward to having the chance to meet some of the young people we have sponsored and swapping our skills in digital communications for communication on the pitch!

Changing Lives Through Football
ICT companies across England, such as, Sky, TalkTalk & Giacom, are taking part in 3 Regional Tournaments. In the Midlands Regionals, NT Voice & Data are facing off against the formidable BDR Group. Preparations are well underway, the team has been picked and each member is determined to give it all and take our company straight to the final. This year all finalists will have the chance to play at the home to England’s national football team – St George’s Park.
However, whether we win or lose, this experience is about more than the final score—it’s about making a meaningful impact where it’s needed most. So, as we step onto the pitch on April 26th, we’re ready to kick goals both on and off the field. Join us in this journey of sport, compassion, and change, and together, let’s make every goal count.
